Sarah Hadland is recognised as a leading individual in
intellectual property and is “lauded by clients as a lawyer of
outstanding ability; she cuts through the complexities of IP law

). Ms Hadland
joined Boyes Turner in September 2010 and now leads the IP
team. Having qualified at Bird & Bird in 1995, Ms Hadland has
over 15 years’ experience in IP law. She has also worked for
Eversheds in London, where she specialised in the protection
and enforcement of trademarks and design rights, as well as
the handling of cases involving passing off, copyright and
counterfeit goods.
Ms Hadland has a well-developed contentious IP practice,
acting for a number of high-profile clients in cases concerning
design rights, trademarks, passing off, breach of confidence,
counterfeit goods and copyright. She also advises in relation to
non-contentious IP matters such as licensing and exploitation
of IP rights. In addition, Ms Hadland oversees Boyes Turner’s
trademark and design right management portfolio service.
Ms Hadland is a member of the Institute of Trademark
Attorneys and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
She is also a member of the INTA Parallel Imports European
Sub-committee and is at the forefront of thinking and policy
making around grey imports and counterfeiting.
