Gina Cass-Gottlieb is a senior partner in Gilbert + Tobin’s
competition and regulation practice. She has advised on some
of the largest, most contentious and complex merger clearance
matters for acquisitions and joint ventures in Australia and New
Zealand. Ms Cass-Gottlieb has successfully represented clients
in complex investigations and prosecutions by the Australian
Competition and Consumer Commission for collusive, predatory,
misleading and deceptive and other prohibited conduct.
Ms Cass-Gottlieb is known for achieving commercial results
through creative solutions and perseverance, even when
previous applications for clearance or dispute resolution have
been refused.
Ms Cass-Gottlieb was a Fulbright scholar at the University
of California, Berkeley from 1986 to 1987, majoring in US
competition law, financial institutions regulation and securities
