Jeremy Drew is a partner and head of the 40-strong IP and
technology group at RPC. He has extensive experience of
both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property,
with particular expertise in dealing with trademark and
passing-off matters.
Mr Drew has acted in a number of leading cases – including
most recently the long-running
Leofelis v Lonsdale
which has visited the Court of Appeal multiple times – and led
the IP aspects of many corporate and commercial transactions.
His core work areas also include copyright and design rights.
Clients include household names in many industry sectors,
including retail, media, sports, technology, publishing and
insurance. Much of that practice involves acting in respect of
international clients and issues.
He is a member of the International Trademark Association,
the Intellectual Property Law Association and the Law Society’s
IP Working Party.
Mr Drew writes and speaks regularly on IP matters,
including at the Cambridge IP Law Summer School.
